Interlibrary Loan for Distance & Online Learning

How to request materials and use Interlibrary Loan services for distance and online students, faculty, and staff.

Request Articles & Book Chapters

Interlibrary Loan requests are appropriate when the sources you need are not available in full text through the ACU Library.

ILL requests take time for our staff to process and fill. If you are working on a tight deadline, try using the "Full Text" filter in OneSearch to avoid search results that require ILL.

To make sure what you're trying to get is not already accessible, before submitting an ILL request, click the Journal Finder link in OneSearch.

After you've confirmed (by checking for full text and Journal Finder links) that an article or chapter you want to read is not available through OneSearch, click the ILL link: "If Item is not Available in Catalog Or In Journal Finder Get Item Here (ILL)."

You will need your ACU username and password to log into the ILL system. First time users will be asked to register with ILLiad. Review or add the following before you hit submit: relevant information about the article or chapter, date not needed after, and any notes for ILL staff to read.

You'll receive an email from acuill@acu.edu when your requested material is available or with follow-up information.
