The main Census.gov website contains data, and links to the data products below: Decennial Census - every ten years, this is a total head count for the U.S. population as well as social, demographic and economic characteristics. Main population site here. In between the Decennial Census, the American Community Survey takes smaller samples from the population to provide annual profiles of U.S. populations.
