ACU Library Link (Formerly Permalinks)

Note: Prior to 2025, it was necessary to find special links called Permalinks. This is no longer necessary, and the library no longer uses the term "Permalink." Use the following instructions to obtain an ACU Library Link, which allows you to return to a source or share it with another member of the ACU community.

Instructions: 

  1. Navigate to the Distance Learning Portal: https://guides.acu.edu/distance 
  2. Using OneSearch, locate the desired library resources (such as an article). 
  3. From the search results page, click on the title of the resource you would like to share.
  4. Once the resource is open, copy and paste the URL from the top of the browser to share the material.

Note: If the resource has Full Text Access, click on "Access Now (PDF)" or the "PDF" option from the Access Options dropdown. Then copy and paste the URL from the top of the browser to share a direct link to the PDF.
