Don't reinvent the wheel.  If someone has already gathered articles on your topic, use them.

 

Tips

  • Type your theory, then enter the following search string:

(literature review*) or (systematic review*) or (meta analys*)

  • Experiment with SUBJECT and ABSTRACT to adjust the relevancy

Search for your terms in journals known for lit. reviews:

 "communication yearbook" or "annals of the international communication association"

and limit to SO Journal Title.
