Government Documents at Brown Library

ACU Library has been a depository for federal government publications since 1979, serving the 19th Congressional District. We exist for members of the public as well as students at the university. We are a selective depository, choosing approximately 61% of materials published by the federal government. This includes online, paper, maps, DVDs, books, journals, etc.

Topics include agriculture, census demographics, business statistics, military history, criminal justice, law, geology, international relations, and many others. We have a particularly strong collection of Texas topographic maps.

In recent years, many government publications have been digitized and can be found in various places on the internet. Also, a growing number of publications are born digital. This LibGuide highlights our physical collection as well as the thousands of publications available online.
