Animal Science Research

Sources, tips, and methods for doing research in Animal Science.

Using a Review Article

The authors have compiled a lot of articles on a topic.  See what they cite that relates to your research.  You are looking for articles they have already identified that can be part of your own literature review.

See Finding Full-text to get the entire article.

If it's not available at ACU Library, we can get it via Interlibrary Loan.

Don't re-invent the wheel.  Find a literature review already published!

A good literature review will:

  • Put the research in context
  • Summarize what is already known
  • List key articles on your topic or a topic similar to yours
  • Suggest areas for future research

If someone has already researched a topic similar to yours, you can benefit from what they have already done.
