Welcome to the ACU Library. We are glad you are here! Whether you are actually in the library building or visiting us online, know that we are ready to help any way we can. This research guide will pull together some sources that can help with your class and also give you tips for using them.
Some of the tools in this guide are from ACU. Others are from Abilene Public Library (APL). The link will indicate which library is providing access. Choose the tools and the links according to which library's materials you are able to access. The box at the right called Accessing Resources will help you determine what you can get to.

Issues and Controversies @APL
As a homeschool student, you have two options for library material. You can use the resources at one of the Abilene university libraries, such as ACU, or you can use the Abilene Public Library
To use ACU Library Resources:
Go to the ACU Library. Anyone can use our stuff if you are physically present; no special card required unless you want to check out books.
To Access ACULib from home: You need an ACU ID (yours or a family member's or a friend's)
To use Abilene Public Library (APL) Resources:
Go to the Abilene Public Library. Anyone can use APL's resources who is physically in the library; no card required unless you want to check out books.
To Access APL from home: You need either an Abilene Public Library card or an ACU card. Abilene Public cards are free for Taylor County residents. Get one now.
